Browsing music

How to browse your music within the Naim app.

1.  To browse different artists across your music stores touch Artists.
   
   
2. A list of artist will be displayed, touch the desired artist to view their albums.
   
   
3. Touch the desired album.
   
   
4. Touch the '...' icon next to a track to open the playback menu.
   
   
5. From this menu you have the ability to play a track, ad a track to the payback queue or add to a playlist.
   
   
6. To browse different albums across your music stores touch Albums. 
7. Touch the desired album.
   
   
8. Touch the Play icon to play the album.
   
   
9. To see music sorted by Genre, New Imports, Composers or Conductors, touch the desired icon.
   
   
10. To search for an artist, album, genre, composer or a conductor, touch the Search icon.
    
    
11. Begin typing in your desired search.
    
    
12. A lost of search results will be displayed, touch the desired search result. 

Playing Audio via AirPlay 

1. Ensure your Apple device is on the same network as Uniti Nova.
   
   
2. Load a music playback app that is compatible with Airplay on your device.
   
   
3. Click the AirPlay icon.
   
   
4. Click Uniti Nova.
   
   
5. Select a track you would like to play, the AirPlay icon will change to blue indicating that the music is being streamed to Uniti Nova.

*With Airplay 2, you can multiroom to multiple devices at once, not limited to Naim*

Playing Audio via Spotify Connect 

1. Touch the Spotify app.
   
   
2. While streaming a song, touch Devices Available.
   
   
3. Touch the name of your Uniti Nova device.
   
   
4. Once connected, the Uniti Nova will be show in green at the bottom of the screen.
   
   
5. Alternatively, touch the Naim app.
   
   
6. Touch Spotify.
   
   
7. Touch Open Spotify app.
   
   
8. Select the music you wish to listen to.
   
   
9. Touch Devices Available.
   
   
10. Touch Uniti Nova.
    
    
11. Touch the Play icon. Your Uniti Nova will now stream the music from Spotify.

Playing Audio via Chromecast

1. Touch the Naim app.
   
   
2. Touch Uniti Nova.
   
   
3. Touch the Chromecast built-in icon.
   
   
4. This will populate a list of apps that are Chromecast enabled. Touch the desired app to open the application.
   
   
5. Touch Open.
   
   
6. Touch Devices Available.
   
   
7. Touch the … icon next to the Uniti Nova.
   
   
8. Touch Google Cast.
   
   
9. The track will begin to play via Chromecast.
